Pixel Genie is a wonderful companion app for photographers, students, teachers, art professionals, and even other app developers. The app allows the user to measure images or parts of an image right on the large iPad screen. This can be useful if you are always having to “guess” the length of a headline or the length & width needed to fill a void in a photo.
Simply load the photo right in the app, click once to start the measurement, click a second time to stop the measurement, and presto, you have the length in pixels. The app goes one step further as well, it gives the x & y coordinates on the screen of your touches for future reference or additional touches. The app allows as many length calculations as needed right on the screen and a clear button for when you are done measuring. This app is one of those handy apps for many different sorts of people for many different sorts of uses.
